So Virtual Cockpit is new option on Octavia called "Active Info Display". So here is review with functionalities.

I figured it might help someone decide whether they want it.

 

 

Presumably thats Columbus, as i'd assume on Amundsen you can't have both maps up at the same time or use CarPlay nav (if route programmed on Waze etc)? This is  how the VW system works, you have to upgrade to Discover pro to get dual maps.

My Virtual Cockpit does the same as in the opening Video. I have the Admunson  unit You can't have maps on both the VC and the Radio.  Google maps, Waze etc can't be displayed on the VC.

Ive seen google maps on the VC im hunting for the pictures but it was on drive2u, dude had street view on the VC centre console

I believe that’s only the case with Skoda Connect but then some posts reckon that the Google Maps on the Columbus can only be used on the radio and it has to be the regular maps on the VC. The Russians can do anything!!

Had dual maps to start with, then they updated the infotainment system, now it doesn't work :(

No answer on why or what I can do do solve it
