Wind Deflectors

Featured Replies

I've had them fitted to mine for 34K miles no problems I don't have the metal clips in them and they haven't moved. bets to leave the windows up for a few days when fitted to let them set in place.

personally I find them very helpful on the motorway when cracking the window - as you get the air flow but not the noise.

also in the middle of summer at work I leave them open just enough that it keeps a nice flow of air but you wouldn't tell unless you had a proper close look also if you get the odd flahs of rain your seats down get wet.

I was told by the guy selling these on eBay, not to fit them to my Scout because they could foul the electric folding mirrors. Anyone had trouble with that? Also, do they stop the drumming noise that is made when the back windows are open?

I can't see how it would affect the folding mirrors? Concerning all the same as I have these in mine and am yet to install the deflectors.

As far as I can see though, they don't come in to contact with each other?

I'm puzzled. I get plenty of air out of my vents with the windows completely closed.👴 Didn't Ford introduce through flow ventilation with the Mk I Cortina in 1964? I remember hinged quarter lights which produced quietish ventilation in the 1960s.👴

These look great, my door mirrors fold in automatically but heard they hit the wind deflectors? Have you had any problems with this?

I never had any issues, I no longer have the car though and have a Honda Civic which people also said that the mirrors would also touch, it doesn't on my new car either
