You guessed correctly.

I remove the front and side bulbs.

Error continued

I need to investigate the error on the cable

it will be a little more difficult for me

  • Fuse 21 is for turn signal lights (left and right) and reverse lights. There is a short circuit in the tail lamps, probably from corrosion.   1) Disconnect negative battery terminal.

  • So what was the cause for fuse 21 burning repeatedly? Previous superficial repairs and poor insulation of the wiring? I have assumed that you know about bad wiring made by previous owners or by y

  • Well, that could certainly cause electrical problems. I would suggest removing this non-original alarm system.   Also, on your English, the only thing that doesn't show up as a typographic e

One more question. Do you find water under the dashboard after a heavy rain? I am thinking of water in the relays box. It is a typical problem for Felicia.

Yes, I have since I first bought the car.
but
water does not come to the fuse box 👍

Hello I found the problem the hard way. :)

You're right RICARDO.

As you said, the wiring is in poor condition.

Rear cable OK.

Side cable OK.

but,

Front left signal cable defective

I didn't know there were 3 separate cables in the signal system but i learned :)

I'll upload pictures in a while

I've connected the front signal cable from the side signal cable.

We temporarily solved the problem.

I will repair the original cable at the right time

Current problems today.

1 - There were some problems on the indicator,

temperature, petrol gauge, rpm gauge, indicator lights sometimes working sometimes not working.

2 - I solved these problems by changing the inside of the white, yellow, and black socket on the back.

Because

3 - They work as you move the socket cables

but

4 - clock not improved

5 - I have energy in the socket when I experiment with the 12v controller

(I checked BD8 and Yellow socket no:9) Ok.

6 - Works when I'm dealing with cables or hitting the indicator, but it dies right away

7 - Where should I look for the problem

I have marked for you (in yellow) the electric track of the clock power supply from the yellow connector (pin 9, +12V live) to the clock microprocessor (pin 9, 10). The copper tracks are VERY thin and in time they develop microscopic cracks. The only solution is to solder directly thin wires over faulty tracks (in red). First solder the solid red wire. If clock still not working, solder the dashed red wire too.

1- Fault continues in all systems to which the yellow socket is connected

2- Should I connect them all with cable again?

fuel gauge "works very rarely"

indicator lights "usually works"

Rpm counter "works for the first few minutes then stops"

Temp gauge "always works but shows faulty" (I understand that it has a connection to the ground)

All problems are on the circuit board. There are very fine cracks around connector sockets, instrument terminals, and copper tracks. The solution is to resolder the connections and to tin the tracks. Changing the pins of the connectors was not necessary.

Is there such a source that shows what needs re-soldering or or can you help me with this when I start.

I will tell you what to do when you'll open the dashboard.

It is not possible.

There is such a mistake in the taillights,

and the ground wire is getting hot.

Should I pull a new ground wire?

that to me smells like a corrosion (high resistance) issue if it was a generall wiring issue both lights would have the same behaviour

I agree. It is corrosion related if you didn't mess with the wiring. Look at connector of the rear right lamp, then at bulbs support, then at bulbs. Have a look at grounding in the boot.

See this video as an example.

Hi ricardo,

I examined the pcb as you recommended.

I think the solders of the yellow plug are broken,

I have not noticed before,

I think,

I can solve my problem by fixing them.

The picture is not very clear but the bottom row is completely broken

Do you have any suggestions

Yellow Socket.jpeg

You have to resolder all pins and tracks that look cracked. Use flux and fresh solder. A good solder lloks like in the following video.

reflow them
