Various lights on dash

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

Iv owned a skoda for a few years now.

A fabia mk1 classic i decided to upgrade to a mk2 elegance 2 years ago, everything has been straight forward and been getting the same quality as my previous fabia. Until friday morning.

Thursday night the central locking decided to throw a hissy fit and wouldn't lock on the key fob. After looking on here locked it manually left for 15 mins a low and behold it's working again. When I went out friday morning I had a epc, engine, abs, steering wheel lights are on, also the hand brake light is continually flashes. After further investigation the speedo doesn't work nor does it record mileage, it also doesn't tell me what gear I'm in and the fuel gauge seems to fluctuate a bit. Also no miles to the gallon either.

Iv checked all the fuse including the ones on the battery. Rac think it's a wheel sensor but can't tell me which one. I'm not 100% convinced it's one due to the amount of problems.

Sorry for the long story but I was just making sure I had it all out there.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

For that many faults to appear, I would be checking the battery and charging system first.
