She helps with a couple of quotes in the programme but I won't spoil it with her words of wisdom as you are clearly a big fan of hers.;)

Potentially, our next Home secretary:

Not to mention Thornberry who also has been kept away from the media.

It's funny, but really sad at the same time. C'mon, are we really thinking of voting these in? They've been hidden away in the last weeks basically because the Labour party know they'd screw up any chances of winning. But then, it's OK to bring them back to run the Country? Does any of this scare us? It does me!

So in her own words she is a socialist who sends her son to a Private school because the local school in Hackney isn't good enough and twice she has made racist comments which she refused to apologise for. Not hard to see why Mr.Corbyn likes her so much. Hope someone buys her a calculator for Xmas so she can work out the cost of 10,000 extra Police officers. Seems that she wants to pay them about £3 per year which could make recruitment a tad difficult.;)

They're so funny to watch. Micheal Portillo does well to fall around laughing but sometimes can't help such Abbott comments on Moa. Then you get the cold shudder down your spine that these could actually be responsible for home and foreign secretaries. That thought is truly horrifying.

Exactly.

Well, according to Lee, they're perfect for the job. God help us.

Diane said Chairman Mao was a good man even though he killed more than Hitler and Stalin combined. This is a basic history lesson for most but beyond her tiny mind that 60 million were killed in Socialist China under a crazy tyrant. Truly unbelieveable. Yet her constituents will flock to continue to vote for her so they must be as racist towards white people as clearly as she still is.

You could always ask why they're perfect for the job but i wouldn't hold your breath for an answer

Probably get a 'The Guardian' quote.

You would need to ask Lee for his opinion like he does when asking a question. Then when you answer he says, well that's just your opinion.

More likely that a Guardian quote would be the response to use Google 🙄

Fascinating insight about Jeremy Corbyn on a piece made 2 days before the 2017 General Election by Stephen Bush for BBC Newsnight on 06/06/2017 called simply "Jeremy Corbyn; A Profile by Stephen Bush. I honestly didn't know he grew up in rural Shropshire in a Middle Class family, went to a Grammar school like me and got worse grades (2 E's) than my 2 "A" levels in Economics and Maths so I'm MORE INTELLIGENT than him as well as better looking.:tongueout:

If you can get up in the morning, put your trousers on the right way round and make it out the house on your own without incurring a life threatening injury to yourself or another occupant you're more intelligent than the majority of wannabe MPs.

People are too focused on Brexit and not the other issues which will play out in the next 5 years.

Boris (or his people) know a strong message works and detracts from the absence of any other manafesto information.

Pick a message and drive it home.

What about the NHS?  Get Brexit done

What about chlorinated chicked? Get Brexit done

What about austerity? Get Brexit done

What about poverty? Get Brexit done

Thing is... it works.

You might not like where Boris is going but at least he's saying he's going somewhere.

Corbyn is slowly circling a roundabout in rural cornwall wondering which direction has the best  selection of pasties and not wanting to comit to one path in case there is no vegan option.

I can't stand Boris, don't like what he stands for, don't like how he says it... but I can see why people would vote for him over Corbyn particularly people who don't really care about the detail, just the message and the idea of a strong leader.

May I select one item here, which I see time and again. Chlorinated Chicken. Currently, if you eat salad in the UK and it came in a bag, it was chlorinated. They use chlorinated water to rinse it. Fact.

Re the chlorinated chicken, the concern is over food standards and using chlorine as a 'cure-all' to balance out bad industry standards. This link explains better:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47440562

It's worth noting though, and it has been discussed here already, that our standards for keeping chickens are far better than those seen in the EU. Personally, I won't buy EU chicken anymore. Nor Danish or Dutch Pork.

Ergo, there is no reason to use 'Chlorinated Chicken' as a banner to tempt you away from the Conservatives.

But anyway, let's get Brexit done.....😉

This is the Dude that is not a 'minder' unless a Baby minder and hanger abouter, just another mouthpiece. Robert Oxley.

Face like fizz this morning.

Press secretary to the Prime Minister 10 Downing Street.  Now and maybe till Friday.

http://uk.linkedin.com/in/robert-oxley-a3b7b7109

Jan 2018- July 2019, Head of Corporate Communications UK & IE @ Deliveroo.

Should know about doorstep deliveries then.

Looks like he is not one that can even stay in a 'Job for the boys' for more than 3 years.

5 months only in this job will do him no harm likely, gets you into the House of Lords eventually. Maybe just as a tea boy.

Going to stick my neck out and predict 330 Tory seats. I got the top 3 on I'm A Celebrity in the right order and I predicted Boris would win the leadership battle so fairly confident on this one.

I'm in the 310 to 320 camp myself.

All these polls don't factor tactical voting against the tories ;)

310 or under would be marvellous.

Johnson still avoiding scrutiny right up to the last minute.

This time he apparently hid in a fridge to avoid a Piers Morgan Interview on Good Morning Britain.

Now there are plenty of places I would hide to avoid Piers Morgan, but Johnson wants to lead the country for another term - why is he avoiding interviews?

Sometimes I see these press hoards and some of them are real pests. Everyone has their limitations as to what they can take. Maybe he had just had enough? If anyone has children here, then they'd understand that we've all wanted to hide in a fridge at some point!!!

I half agree with you.  But you would have thought after avoiding other interviews that he would want to dispel his reputation for avoiding scrutiny.

I saw this, and I know that others do the same, but you got to have a bit of respect for those that do:

Of course he is, he know's that he'll get picked apart like every other leader that has been. He should have gone first if he was going to do it then the other car crashes would have been after him and the last last one would be more memorable than his.

I think he's right to avoid it. Looking chicken will harm his votes less than a total shambolic performance in front of Andrew Neil would.

If people are bothered about Chlorine they should avoid using swimming pools as they are full of it. I much prefer risking a shark attack on holiday recently enjoying the Indian Ocean rather than having a dip in the Hotel's pool which more than likely someone has relieved themselves in during all those free all inclusive drinks.:o

Chlorinated Chicken is a dog whistle topic which is why I put it in.

You've pointed out that there is a longer more credible answer to the question. But the answer given, as always is = Get Brexit done.

They got 318 with Mrs May in charge and I think you would agree Boris is more popular with the masses than Theresa ever was. 262 votes for Labour last time out so they only need to hold onto exiting seats and win another 64 for a majority.:D

The Tory candidate in my area was the only female Tory MP in Scotland, they really want to get her back in.

She never attended a hustings the other night in the same town as Theresa May went to support her in.

Then her machine tried to bad mouth the SNP candidate that they said had been parachuted in to the area.

That seemed to backfire when his actual background and circumstances were set out.

Looking forward to Thursday Night and Friday and the rest of the weekend to see just what the election does bring.

Something to keep you up all day and night can be delivered as quickly as a pizza, or even with a pizza, so just like down in Westminster really.
