ride is slightly firmer not at all bad but the biggest impact is the reduction in roll through corners.

can also reach the middle of the roof easier to wash it, but strugle to get in jet wash to wheel arches

Scott

looks sweet!!!

Look out for those 'sleeping policemen' ;)

AND

 You must get those doorhandles, either painted or some chrome covers!!

Nice one

And the ones who are awake on duty as well ;)

Its those that glow in the dark I'm worried about!!

I love the ride height, looks really good ;)

I would recommend getting an alloy sumpguard or it could be very costly.

And last but not least, get rid of those hideous alloys, they really don't do the car any favours in my humble opinion.

All IMO of course

Looks good, you'll be fine with sleepers, just take it easy, Usually the first thing to ground is the small plastic tabs in front if the wheel arches.

Chrome door handle you goto be kidding right ?

Bet you've noticed the improvement in braking already.

The sump guard was done for anther chap who had coilovers fitted.

His was very low.

Looks good

I like it.

Would be worth a check up on the sump guard

you may have noticesd the curbage on the passenger side rims, going to get rid of these in a mouple of months and fit 18's if i can make them fit ok, these will then get winter tyres on to save my good set from salt raods.

They were also on the car when i got it, hense the 195/45 tryes and no rim protector

Where can i get a sump guard. have been looking and only found the out of date GB :thumbdwn:

Thanks for the comments

Scott

Hi Scott

What you could do with doing is PMing Josh

He is the one who organised the GB to start with.

But I think , I dont know I cant remember , was there a number or email address on the old link?

Sarah

As I've said before, if we can get between 5 and 10 people together for another sump guard GB, then I'll do one.

Looking good Scott, hows the re-map going?

the wheels dont look as bad as they did when it was at standard ride height.

need to get mine dropped abit.

Hi Josh

Good to see you.

IIRC has yours not saved you before?

I think this was a really good GB and get a new thread started and see if you can get one together

Sarah

lowering was

Scott.

The flaps gently wear down, mine took a year until they stopped on normal bumps. A good reminder when going a little fast over bumps.

Chrome door handle men, it's your car do what you want. But please remove the rubbing strip first or get a chrome one.:)

Why??

Why??

cos glider is of the same thinking as me: chrome door handles look naff with black rubbing strips, and the strips are just stuck on anyway which IMO is a bit tacky (like it was an afterthought  )

didnt realise they were just stook on, so they just pull off then, i never bothered to touch them as i thought they might leave holes underneath and that to me is just tiresome to fill

yeh bit of hopt water to soften the glue and some fishing wire used in a sawing motion and youll have them off in 5 mins. then just a case of cleaning of f the glue and polishing till the newly revealed paint matches the duller stuff.
