what is the difference between Octavia style 4x4 and Octavia scout?

Ride height and plastic cladding. Also Scout has some extra off-road user selectable traction control features.

Many thanks, if not doing much off-road which would you recommend.

Scout also uses different (higher profile) tyre sizes. Slightly softer feel to the ride.

 

Did a good test drive in the Scout, went for the standard car. Not much in it but I prefer the standard look.

I'm on my second Scout. It's a matter of personal taste but the Scout looks far better to my eyes- the standard car looks bland. THe scout also has loads of standard equipment that might not be standard on other models, such as the heated steering wheel (I laughed until I tried it!) and alcantarsa/leather trim. Try both and buy the one you like best.

Yes but the OP has asked about the 'Style' which generally has the most standard equipment of all the models.

Wasn't aware of that- we don't have the style trim level in the UK.

The scout version appears to attract a premium - £2-3k more expensive when I was shopping around. For the extra kit maybe, but otherwise I'm quite happy with the standard estate look with the added bonus of 4x4 😁 (mines fitted with the full rough road package underneath).
