The instrument panel switches on our Skoda Forman are, in a word, JUNK. Headlight, parking light, fog light, emergency flashers, are all push-on, push-off style switches. When we bought the car, only the headlight switch would stay in the on position when it was pushed. SO ...I bought a complete set of new switches, which were unbelievably high priced. After about 6 months, one-by-one, they all failed again.  I disassembled one of them and they looked like something you would find on a Mattel toy. Very poor cheap design. With as good as the quality of the rest of the car is, I expected better.

Does anyone know of a better quality replacement switch that will fit into the stock openings in the instrument panel ? I can use aftermarket rocker switches by enlarging the switch openings slightly, but will have to use them to control relays and rewiring them will be difficult. The wiring diagram in my Haynes manual requires a rocket scientist to figure it out. Can anyone help me with this ?

just use a blanking plate and find heavy duty switches of your liking to replace them
