Seats removed boot length

Featured Replies

Hi all, I've searched to no avail so sorry if my Google-Fu has let me down.

Anyone know how long the Karoq boot is with the varioflex seats removed? Basically I'm wondering can I get a 203cm ikea box in there?

I would go outside and measure but it's cold and I'm lazy today

I’ve not measured it but I’m willing to bet not......

Good man 👍

Do the Varioflex seats not fold forward?

Unless I've misinterpreted your question,  having the seats in or not should only affect the height not the length?

Ah I see what you mean, with the seats folded towards the front seats you've still got the folded height as the width. With the seats removed completely theres nothing between the load and then front seat.

I'm going to try and get home before dark later and take a seat out and measure if I get a chance. I'm resided to it probably not being long enough but I'll know and also be able to see if I can get my fat bike (mountain bike) bike in with the front wheel removed.

This is the KODIAQ - so according to this this is 1880 - so the Karoq will be less

The Karoq just fits 2.4M length of timber from boot to dash also.

I remove the middle seat and that lets me fit my Boardman full suspension bike with front wheel removed and seat post removed in an upright position.

It is then secured with two staps to the boot fixings to stop it moving forward and side to side with no problem.

When they're folded forward they take up space directly behind the front seats which can be used for load space. Removing them completely adds a lot of usable space.

Got. you. That'll be one of the few downsides of the Varioflex system.

When I fold my seats down  they give me a relatively continuous flat floor from bumper to the back of the front seats.

Swings and roundabouts...
