Received a new 1.0 SE Technology hatch in energy blue.  Only done a couple of hundred miles so far, but so far happy.

Velvet Red VRS Tdi 4x4 DSG Hatch, Heated screen and seats & Virtual cockpit, I had a 66 plate VRS and am still trying to get used to the MY20 gadgets, liking the DSG box though, well happy.

Wife decided we would have Maple Brown. 🤢

My car was UK stock at my local dealer thankfully as VRS options are very limited now with little extras.

We had hoped for a stock item but SWMBO wanted heated seats so factory build it was.

I nearly ended up with that colour by accident! My first choice colour Business Grey was no longer available (after choosing it) and Maple Brown was mentioned as a new colour and possibility once I'd left the dealers, very confusing trying to work out the exact colour from the online images though and in the end went with Race Blue. I saw a car in Maple Brown at my local dealers when I was in recently, it actually looked fine. It's one of those colours which can look quite different depending upon the light intensity, I'm sure you'll be happy with it when it arrives!

I got my VRS challenge estate just over a week ago. Love it.

Wifes nephew has seen a Superb in it and says looks great. 

Got Octavia 1.4TSI SE L 150BHP facelift with split headlights (LED front and back light) on last Friday, black in colour. 26k on the clock in odometer. Still pretty new inside and outside. I can feel the firmness of the seats and also suspension of the car.

Car at Emden awaiting loading on ship for Hull.

Then 'supposedly' across country, somehow,  to Liverpool hence on to Belfast.

 

Been told at least another 2-3 weeks for gods sake. 😥

That's the problem with the 2 stretches of water to cross, slows them down a bit 😞 

 

When I ordered mine it was at Grimsby, it was 16 days order to delivery.

Yes, factory order. Ordered 21st Aug, build week was 43. I'm in the NorthEast, car is being driven up from a dealer in Manchester, its a lease. 

Car was at the port waiting for a boat on 29th Oct. Got advised reg number last Friday and reg date is this Friday coming, then Monday delivery. Hope that helps gauge when yours will arrive. 

Well folks, another week passed. 

 

Last heard of , still at port of Emden 'released to ship', whatever the hell that means!

Did speak to a sales rep at my dealer last week who said they had hastened it and should be 'somewhere', not sure where by next Monday 8th December.

 

Rather hoping for some positive news with a phone call tomorrow.

 

Have chassis number, just wish we, the buyer could track it. 😁

 

 

Mine was at the port released to ship (cleared customs so ready to leave) a month ago, its being delivered tomorrow
