Aftermarket dsg paddle extenders 2012vrs

Featured Replies

Hello firstly let me post a disclaimer I realize this has been mentioned before but I've struggled to get much usable info from previous threads as eBay links have expired etc.

Basically I've ordered two sets of paddle extenders to on the vrs paddle plastic buttons. The first one is completely wrong shape which was my fault but the second set to fit a Leon mk3 I thought would fit. And size wise they fit perfect on top of the current plastic buttons, but for some reason the actual pad button is more curved than the paddle extender and only the outer edge of the sticky back touched and it dosent stick properly.

Has anyone had any ideas fixed to make them fit ie something to taper the extender or a correct fitting paddle.

I realize they changed the dsg plastic paddle on later ones but I've really struggled to find one that fits which is really annoying.

Any ideas or suggestions I'd be very grateful of as it's doing my headin now lol

Pretty much 3 options:

1. Buy from an ebay seller and pay double and they just stick on.

2. Buy from ebay or 3rd party and pay that little bit extra for ones with grub screws that are held on with the screw.

3. Or in my case go straight to the supplier in China and get the for £12, Stick on ones and 2.5 week delivery, I had to use my own double sided tape as the stuff they provided was awful.
