Can anybody tell me if a set of Yeti wheels (13 plate) fit my Octavia mk2 vrs (11 plate) Thankyou in advance!

Yes they both have a PCD of 5x112 and a minimum of 16" will fit the VRS.

The offset may be different but not too restrictive.

The outside diameter of Yeti tyres may be too big for the Octavia.

 

215/60R16 and 225/50R17 are Yeti tyres.

 

205/55R16 and 225/45R17 are Octavia tyres.

I am currently running a set of Yeti winter rims & tyres on my Octavia2 until I have the Yeti registered in France.

 

No clearance problems, ups the gearing slightly, when I looked at the tyre sizes listed inside the fuel filler flap I'm pretty sure that the 215/60R16 were listed there.

 

Somebody please correct me if I am dreaming again, wont be the first time.

 

In any case they fit and I have found to my great pleasure that steel wheels with Skoda hubcaps not only look quite acceptable they do not get dirty with brake dust.

 

Editted, I had already fitted uprated coil springs which raised the ride slightly but there seems to be bags of clearance.
