I want to update my steering wheel!

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I have a skoda octavia mk 3 2013, I would like to update the steering wheel for a multi function one, does anyone know how i do this and what i need, need to know what wheel would fit and if i have to change the steering module . , Part numbers would be great if you know them. My car is an estate auto diesel 1.6.

Many thanks .

Will need a scan from your car to determine what you have fitted already, generally speaking though the cars that don’t have a multi function wheel don’t have the correct CAN Gateway among other things so a full scan is needed first to see what’s what.

Once you decide what you need I have a wheel and I think buttons in the garage. Make me an offer if you want it.

Do you have VCDS or similar diagnostic tool?

A scan shows the hardware, software and coding (setup) details of all the ECUs fitted to the car - and in this case is needed to see if the CAN Gateway is capable of 'talking' to an MFSW.
