Owned my Sportline estate since July and only spotted this.

Can you find it? 😊

Bit whistle-y that corner then? Or is it stuck to the car instead 😉

Missing inner door seal on the nearside rear door oh dear quality control took the day off.:tongueout:

Bought it used., 66 plate so was around 2.5 years old. That door shut but you could push it in a little so adjusted lock striker plate but never fully cured it. Thought it may of had a previous repair but no real signs. Just fitted new door threshold plates and just noticed the missing seal! The paintwork is so clean looks as never been fitted! No wind noise surprisingly. Have ordered one now. Stick on by the looks of it

Quality control 😊

Agree it looks like it wasn't fitted when the car was built, should be a warranty job.:blush

It was 3 years old in November so passed the date. Would of been a funny claim. Still £38 for seal and I'd rather fit myself.

How many folk are gonna go out tomorrow and check theirs haha

Just checked my Sportline Hatch and all present and correct, including the 2 umbrellas.;)

Cost cutting Skoda style. The newer the car the less bits you get.

I would say the missing door seal was a real sign................sorry. Very unusual.

But a 280 on 95 unleaded makes 276bhp and a 272 on 99 octane makes 283bhp. So many choices in life.

That’s interesting. What does a 280 (or rather a 276) make on 99 octane - 276?

Probably just over 290bhp as the exhaust is less restrictive than the GPF 272.

Blimey! Well, all I know, it’s the fastest car I’ve owned and very close to the fastest I’ve ever driven, which was an Escort RS200E, with just shy of 450bhp. I could manage 4.2 secs 0-60, but the owner managed 2.9. Bloody horrid car mind; the L&K is somewhat more comfortable!

Had a passenger ride on a 2 mile runway in a 542bhp Jaguar XJ220 and the owner reached 305kph (190mph) but it sounded like a bag of nails because they dropped the planned V12 engine and used a Group B Metro 6R4 6 cylinder turbo engine instead. When Autocar tested it in 1992 it did 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and 0-100mph in 7.1 seconds and a year later the McLaren stole it's thunder with 3.2 and 6.3 times for the benchmark sprints.:whew:

Fastest car you have owned but the owner could get a quicker 0-60 time than you the owner. 🥴

What have I missed?

280 Sits at 2,300rpm in 6th at 70mph but the 272 with it's 7th gear sits at 2,000rpm at the NSL. Quieter and uses less fuel LOL.

his 280 is the fastest he's owned......

You wouldn't buy a rally weapon like a Group B RS200 as a daily would you?:tongueout:

Re-read the post. I didn’t OWN the RS200E.

So what is "it" then?

With respect, it is time to spot the difference and find that facepalm emoji :) :)
