Looking to lower my 02 plate octy vrs, Looked at a couple of websites and none have the vrs listed specificaly they only have the like " octavia 97 on " surely th standard and vrs springs are different so these will not fit !? Anyone got any links to vrs lowering springs ?

You are right the standard springs for the "octavia 97 on" wont be any good. The vRS is already lower than a standard octavia, so lowering springs for those normal octavias will most likely only lower the car to the same height you are at now.

To go lower, I went the coilover route. At least I could then set the car to a height I was happy with. Have a look for KW variant 1 and 2. Both are available for the vRS.

Have a look at the Awesome site, I got my Eibach springs from them for my Octy Vrs, lowers the car about 25mm, and with the standard shocks does not knock out your fillings when you hit a bump.

you get a noticable drop with 25mm ? doesnt seem alot?

Thats why I went for the Eibach springs and fitted new standard shocks at the same time, good compromise.

By dropping it 25mm, is it a noticeable difference? Also, what suspension kits are out there that are not adjustable (fixed height)? What dampers do people recommend?
