Hi All,

I've recently purchsed my very first Skoda and am very pleased with it.

On doing some Googling for various queries (nothing too technical at this stage) I kept seeing this Forum come up.

It makes sense to join up as this place seems to be the "Go To" place for owners.

 

Based on what I've read so far I'm sure that anything that I may have a question about has already been answered (or there'll be some knowledgeable owner that knows where to look).

Hi Guys,

I am enjoying my car so far but I can't get comfy with the clutch for some reason.

I had a Picasso diesel previously and when pulling away you could drop the revs down low and it would just pull away.

On the Octavia I find I have to raise the revs (more than I'm used to) to stop it stalling.

And if I do stall I have to do the obvious manly thing of quickly looking around to see if anybody saw me. 😁

It all feel a lot "tighter" than the Picasso though.
