Hello to everyone! 🤙

I'm currently having the following issue in my new Skoda Scala (1.0 TSI 116HP). The Bolero screen switches off (more likely turns black - like screen saving mode), in the fist 1 or 2 min after i start the car. I can still hear everything - radio etc, but to switch it on again i have to press one of the column "buttons". It doesn't switch on just by touching the screen part. It does this only for one time and always when i start the engine. And then no mater the driving time, it doesn't do it again.

I have already deactivated the option in the menu that switches off the screen after a period of time (and tried to activate the option and the deactivate it again), so i shouldn't see something like that.

 

Does this happens to anyone else?

Mine has done this quite a few times on my SEL plus reversing camera will not work, heater controls not working. Have To restart the car and things then get back to normal apart from the reminder to update the software every half hour. If you go into the settings it says the software is up to date !!!! Apparently it needs to go into the dealers for an update on their equipment. I will wait for the first service and get it done at the same time. 
I still enjoy driving the Scala the DSG box is superb, adore the adaptive cruise control as I do a fair amount of motorway driving.

Keeping to the speed limits regularly gets me 55+ MPG

The electric seats are really comfortable I used crawl out of my last Fabia a aching wreck after 3 hours.

Yetiherts, thanks for the reply . I'm actually counting on the dealers update next week. (if there is any, because as you said the software says its up to date). Good news is at least, that everything else works perfectly. I love this car.

I have the same issue unfortunately..

Please let me know what is the latest software for that screen . The dealer says that there is a later software but noone has called me. 

Hello to everyone. I contacted the dealer and he also says that there are available updates(!). I'm making an appointment next week or the week after, so I'll let you all know as soon as i finish.

(I wish I could deal with it sooner but time is flying!!)
