Mildly disappointingly, it's MY20 but I soon got over it when I cranked up the Canton.

  • I think the video was suggesting there MAY be some wires at the bottom of the screen to heat the glass where the windscreen wipers rest (so they will be unfrozen quickly should you try to use the wipe

  • If you get a 90 degree usb adaptor (See Amazon £5.99 for two), you can hide a usb drive ( or in my case an iPod ), in the cubby hole and close the sliding cover?

Looks superb shouldn’t worry about MY20, at least your manual covers what you have actually got in the car. I am struggling my way around the MY 21 Infotainment system for which ,at the moment, there is no up to date manual.

Poor show Skoda.

The manual you speak of has been available in the usual location for at least the last 4 weeks that I know of. I downloaded it mid August.

Hi,

Thanks for your link.

I had downloaded a manual that was specific to the Amundsen sat Nav, but that appears to not line up with my MY21 car. So i will download the one you kindly sent the link for and see how that lines up. As far as you know does that indeed apply to the new MY21 Infotainment system ?

Thanks to you all for your assistance

Regards

Poor show Skoda, when you produce a lovely car!! Not giving us the documentation to use all the numerous facilities

Enjoy and polish tomorrow if there is no rain where you are!!
Eric

Hope you got the polish on and had a good play around!!

Having got the correct manual now I am ok with the new infotainment system.

Did notice that on the old system you had a proper page to enter GPS favourites which is not on the new one.

Having said that after a lot of playing about I have worked out the correct format for the coordinates to be entered into the “Search” window and it works!!

Now I have the correct up to date manual all seems ok apologies to Skoda !!!

unlike the old system I can’t find a dedicated screen to allow you to put in GPS coordinates for a destination or favourites, HOWEVER, after a lot of playing about (and it works) I have worked out the correct format now for the figures to be entered in the Search bar so I am a happy man.

Thanks to all involved
