Well on my 2015 Skoda octavia 2L diesel 

car rang said car done 

replace hose from bottle to engine 

replaced with new expansion bottle 

ready re pressurised and fix

collection  1pm ,drove nearly 200 moles just pulling up on drive 

coolant warning light on 

bottle empty.

the garage can have the car back .

 

 

For info that the last stage of the water pump failure is coolant seen splashing in the engine bay area.

 

It just keeps leaking when hot.

Took the opportunity to do a major servicing.

Timing belt kit

Water pump

Serpentine belt and tensioner

Oil and air filter change
