I only did one run so I suppose it could have been a little quicker.

Stock? Modded?

Looks to be less than 8 secs to me!

Thats a 0-80 run  :P

Looks quick, but TC will have slowed it down a tiny bit

AmD One clicked  I'm a poor driver TBH so someone could do better.

6/7 seconds?

thats quick! yeah 6- sub 7 ish:thumbup:

timed it to around 6.9 seconds

Not bad. Timed it at 6.4 seconds!!

I must get one of these AmD thingeys one of these days

Have to say thats about as fast as mine gets to 60 now.... Good effort.

I'll give you a run for your money in the mid range though! :P ;)

6.6 was my PB timed at Elvington so probably very similar to mine.

Slow,Slow,Slow....:D

I need some wider tyres on the front. :thumbdwn:

Had a little experimenting on my commute this morning, and I just couldn't stop the tyres spinning, and this is on semi slick tyres on a bone dry road.

Do you think turning ASR off would give you any more 0.1's - I note it kicks in on a couple of gear changes. I.e is the ASR slowing you down in any way?

(..I don't know enough about how it works  - does it just apply a bit of single wheel braking to reduce wheel slip?)

Nice one though!

:D To be honest, I'm amazed it worked out that quick cos I don't know if there's any one else who thinks the same thing but, when you get used to the car, it doesn't seem that quick  Like I said before, this was just 1 try and I havn't got a clue about fast starts or anything like that. BTW, is it quicker with the TC switched off ?

EDIT - andyb read my mind ! :D

But your car kicks out 195bhp ? Mine has never been RR and it's just the humble AmD One Click ? Why's that ?

There is no such car that would feel fast enough after you`ve had it for a week.. :)

If you dont let it wheelspin too much, yes it will be faster. Usually always TC and such devices make the acceleration worse.

If they are "the" tyres, then you need to get them hot mate.

Here is another Fabia with AMD one-click doing a 0-60+

Its all down to getting a good start really. And at the end of the day where does 0-60 help under normal driving conditions? (other than a traffic light Grand Prix)

Stripped of rear seats and spare, i managed a consistent 6.7 on a performance meter, so thats a good show

Ah, but what were those 2 supercars that easily pulled away ? :D

 They are. After a blat out with the local car club here on Weds night, the car was awesome in 2nd gear - wasn't spinning it up at all, just gripping and pulling. Cold though, they're good, but still spin up fairly often

Octavia 110 TDi and Octavia 2.0 non-turbo ;) ;)

Its coz youve got ****e suspension.... :P

Good point, I found my car's performance off the line improved dramatically when the rear suspension was stiffened up.

good time something like mine 6-7 secs.

goot time
