has anyone had problems with there octy VRS on the rolling road...... booked mine in last week but got a phone call yesterday saying they cannot run the VRS he said no matter what he does when VRS's hit 4k rpm they just shut down on the rollers he has tried 3 cars all with the same result:confused:

Make sure you turn traction control off, I've seen cars on RRs which have had problems cos the front wheels are spinning and the back aren't... which sets off the traction control and kills the power. Happens WAY before 4k mind.

Could the problem be to do with the loading applied to the rollers? as i beleive the management system on them is load based so if there isn't enough resistance could that be the problem?

Have been on a few and never seen or heard of this problem . Have a look at the RR day thread we have for this Saturday (29th), and if your local to Bletchley/Milton Keynes, why not call in and put yours on the rollers with ours.
