Doeas anyone knows if there is any possibility to configure head light DRL in Basic LED head light to work as turn signal. In other lamp models when DRL are activated turn signal is alternated with day light. In  Basic LED head light there is turn signal light below  with incandenscent bulb.

 

I'm wondering if it is possible to force DRL to work as turn signal in orange color:

have the same issue and hoping for a simple coding fix for this as well. it's really annoying to see the incandescent bulb signal light below the cool full LED lights array.

What is "Basic LED Lights"? It's either halogen or Matrix LED on the 2020 Facelift, no?
Also, I have what OP is asking for, but I have the 'Skoda Crystal Lighting' headlights, which is matrix LED.

Hi fergard, "Basic LED" is the simplest lamp in Superb MKIII after FL it is like halogen with mirror, but instead of H7 bulb there is LED lamp, so you don't have autoleveling and you need to adjust lighting hight when you travel with  loaded trunk. Of course it is much better than H7, it has more than 4500 lm. I agree with thousandsons - it is really annoying having incandescent bulb below the lamp. I have no idea why they did that. It seems to not be an issue of model level, matrix led has the same...

My matrix led has the DRL 2-mode, normal is a white strip and blinker makes it orange. I have no separate orange lightbulb.

fergard are you using VCDS ? If yes, can you send me your lights adaptation map ?

I have that by default. The elements which are the blinkers on 1st pic is the cornering light on my Matrix LEDs.

According to Skoda the Matrix lights are standard equipment on L&K and Style trims, but it appears this is not the case for some L&K. Really hope we can get some coding solution to get the dual-use of the DRL to function as the turn signal lights as well as those are really sexy.

I would be surprised if the DRL LED even has an orange mode on those headlights

My Feb 2020 Superb SEL has white L shaped DRL which change to L shaped orange indicators plus noticed the rear turn indicators scroll like a VW or Audi which is cool. Think the SEL has the Matrix LED headlights judging by the number of LED bulbs I can see.The rear lights are very sexy at night to compared to my Mar 2019 Sportline Plus.
