nice idea.... but I think organising ONE calendar is quite enough work for me lol.... and I've still gotta work out how to organise the voting, once I've collated all the pics....

As for what happens next:

It'll take me a couple of days to organise some way for you all to vote - but I'm hoping to get something sorted for next week sometime.

Plan is to then leave the voting open for a coupla weeks, while I lay out a basic design... and then once the voting is over I'll have to count up the votes and work out who wins!

Winners will need to submit Hi Res versions of their pics to me... and then I need to get the final 'copy' over to the printer.

Aim is to get the calendars printed by the start of November, so we can get them out to people (even the overseas ones!) in plenty of time for Xmas

As for what happens next:

Voters will need to submit large amounts of cash to me...

I've now got over 300 images to sift through!

Looking at what's there, I'm going to have to do a 'first cut' on the pics, to get them down to a more reasonable number. Some of you have submitted a dozen or more images... I'm going to cut that down to a max of 4 of each particular vehicle, otherwise it's just getting a bit ridiculous... got a mate who isn't a skoda owner but IS a photographer, going to ask him to help me pick 'the best 4' of each, and then see how many hundreds that still leaves me with lol..... think I'm gonna be a busy girl

I've managed to get the pics down to around 170 now... but that's still one helluva lot of pics!

Everyone who has submitted a pic will have at least one pic in the voting.... seemed only fair that way but as there are about 50 people in total who submitted pics, I'm not sure if everyone will get one in the calendar!

It's all down to how folks vote..... and there's nowt I can do about that (no, I'm not open to bribery, before anyone asks :eek: )

Right folks, I have another question for you now!

The votes are trickling in.... but I need to decide on a size for the desktop calendars.

I have 2 possibles - they can either be CD-case sized, or A5.

If they're CD-case sized, they'll be separate pages in a CD case so the calendars will be quite small... but this might be a good thing depending on how much space you have on your desk!

If they're A5, they'll be spiral bound like the normal wall calendar, with a card 'insert' or 'tent' to stop it falling over!

Which would anyone prefer?

Including UK P&P, I think the Wall calendars are going to cost around a tenner each and the desk ones will probably be about £6 or £7, depending on which format we go for and how many we order!
