As someone mentioned the other day that Loz's pic of her dad's car was worth a place in the 2007 calendar (see the C&F III post meet discussion thread if you don't know what I'm talking about ) I've started thinking about... a calendar for 2007. :eek:

The question is - do we want one?

And if so, that begs another question - what format?

Last year's calendar sold about 65 copies, and cost just under £10 each including paypal fees. It was a 'hang-it-on-the-wall' calendar cos that's all I could organise in the few weeks I had!

I'd like to be a bit more organised this year, and start things rolling a bit earlier, hence this thread. Also gives you a bit more time to get out there polishing those cars and taking lots of nice pics

Oh - and I haven't given any option for 'No ta' cos tbh I'm not interested in the No votes

EDIT - calendar is definitely going ahead, you have until SEPTEMBER 22ND to submit your pics. Post them on here and/or email them to calendarpics @ hotmail.com (without the spaces of course!!) the higher the resolution the better for any emailed ones!

Should perhaps have added - I should be able to get the calendars in both formats if we get enough of you interested I think the minimum order per format is about a dozen....

Oh - and if you want to start submitting pics, feel free to do so

Rules this year:

High res pics only please! Minimum 1024x768. You also need to email me a copy of the pic AT THE SAME TIME - pm me for my email address!

You must own the pictures you submit - or they must be of your own car / a car you have previously owned.

If they are not of your own car, you must have the permission of the owner and also let me know who the real owner is! This however does not apply to 'group' meet photos as I know it would be difficult to get everyone's permission beforehand!

You can submit as many pics as you like but each person will only be allowed to win ONE month (sorry Shifty )

When you submit a picture, please state which month you would like it to be entered against.

Oh - usual Briskoda disclaimers apply.... nowt to do with them, it's me organising it, etc

I'm hoping to leave this thread running for a long time so that as many people as possible can take part - we'll probably have the vote around the end of September so that I can finalise the calendar and get it printed up in November, so you can all have it in time for Xmas (even any that go overseas, like a couple did last year )

Oh - and if you see a pic of your car in here that you didn't submit and you want it to be excluded from the vote, just let me know....

I thought the last Calender was good. Similar format for me.

This sounds like a good idea.... Im gonna try and get some group shots of mine felicia, with my dads Fun - break up all the fabia/octy rs' the rest of the calender will be made up of!!!

Yeah I'd like to get a good mix - did my best last year but I didn't get many people sending pics in that WEREN'T Octy or Furby-based!!
