Delivery times?

Featured Replies

I have hust had an update on my TDI 4x4 VRS, ordered 11/08/21. Estimated delivery now end of November 2022. That will be 15 months. I'm not even optimistic that date will be accurate. Looks like 2023 will be realistic.🤯🤬

  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

Omg, what you guys are writing today is madness…

Thats why I’m not calling anymore and I’m just waiting 🤷🏻‍♂️

A little bit of additional information, friend of mine who ordered octy in May of 2021, was informed that car should be delivered in 2023, 5 week. Orginal delivery date was scheduled to october of  2021. I hope you guys more lucky than we are. :)  Cause this wait time is just insane.

Which country is this?

No, earlier this year, dealer informed me, that car scheduled for production and should be delivered in summer.

Do you if its IN production already?

Ordered Octavia SE L 1.5 TSI 21/6/21. Week 9 2022 confirmed build. Current status still in Production awaiting parts. I am assuming awaiting door panels. So interested in any updates people see relating to production of these restarting, if only the fire hadn't happened!

You're in the same spot as i am. Day by day i'm hoping to have a call about a finished RS iV.

If the door panel fire causes ~3mo delays, it might be finished in next month. At least i'm being optimistic, but have no idea how long it extends since people are starting to talk about 2023.

So i got a phonecall today for an update, was excited to see the number pop up for some good information... it looks like the whole war thing causes suplies shortage on a grand scale. So now the presumable build estimate is end this year... sigh..  (Skoda Scala model)

Lithuania, Eastern Europe.

I called the dealer today...

He said that he got "confirmed pruduction" status and delivery week 15.

I asked him what does that mean, and if the car is already done but he had no answer?!?

He just said that it's probably done, and it's just waiting for the ride to Slovenia.

And yeah I still don't believe them 🙃

Well guys, look at the bright side, we will have plenty time to chat about our Skoda delivery :D :D :D

At this rate, I'll be lucky to get the facelift. I ordered back in end January. I think I'll be lucky for next January/February.

At least it'll give plenty time to look forward to it. What it does mean is that I hope the current car can hold on a bit longer.

You ordered Jan 21 or 22?

Well, at least it brings some comfort knowing that you're not the only one with 14 months+ delivery time :)

A bit panicked by the "great" news that we saw today on this topic (the 1.5 TSI with 19 months waiting time and the TDI vRS with 15 months waiting) I sent a quick question to my dealer this afternoon. She said they have no info about extra delays on top of the existing ones: the known PHEV delays and the door panels delay estimated to 3-4 months. She repeated: "when I'll see a status change in the system I'll let you know". I was almost happy 🙈. Human nature is so weird... I used to be angry not getting any status for the car; now I'm starting to be happy about it - it might mean I could get the car within the Contract term.
So I'm afraid I'll soon adopt the ostrich strategy - head in the sand... As long as my old car works I'll simply assume "no news is good news".

where is all this news coming from?is it all fake news there was no mention of this a day or two ago but now.the dates are coming out are so unreal ie 19 month waiting list.i ordered my car may 21 and know it is built before the fire.also told only a slight delay and this might be the reason i only get a one week push backs for the past 3 weeks[ihope]

My build date was given as end of October, delivery for end of November. Yeah right. 🤣 I expect as of November I also will be subject to the one week push backs well into 2023. Oh well, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Well, dealer contacted me, because delivery day in contract was march 15, so he informed, that I should give up my hope to get the car this year, also he mentioned, that for the new clients ETA are from 18 to 24 months, which is insane.  He said, that delay because of the war in Ukraine,i dunno is it true, however I've think it's related.

I received a letter from Skoda a couple of days ago in which they state that the war in Ukraine is one of the contributing factors for the delays.

so dealer contacted you about expected delivery dates getting pushed that amount of time.i am thinkkng this must be the first time a dealer has said this before.there has been many comments about dealers having no idea at all when peoples cars are coming .so has anything changed?

I talked with him in the beginning of February, he told me that expecting car in April, in beginning of the march, after fire I contacted him, and he told me, that because of fire, there will be delay, and then the war begun, they needed to do some additional paperwork with bank, so today he contacted me, and said because of fire and mostly of war, there are terrible delay, and in the system he saw, that car scheduled for 12 week in 2023. Sad story.

Sorry to say that more of you can expect similar updates from your dealers.

Skoda has all sorts of production problems, and some reality seems to have suddenly moved in (so not being mentioned few days ago is now irrelevant).  Basically Skoda is due to present its 2021 financial results and future outlook on Tuesday morning, so can’t hide anymore.

Skoda UK might still be taking orders, but new orders will be 2023 deliveries (except for new Fabia, and selected Kamiq and Karoq specs).
