how to open drivers door when door handle wire is broken any ideas 

Welcome.  This is not something I have had to do myself, thankfully. But others on here have had some success by repeatedly thumping the door with the hand (in the hope of forcing a temporary connection between the broken ends of the wire) whilst operating the "unlock" button.  Good luck
