Intelligent marketing...

Featured Replies

Got a nice little mailshot from Skoda today... addressed to me personally and telling me that as a Fabia owner I may be interested in the new Skoda Fabia vRS. and I probably would be - IF I DIDN'T ALREADY OWN ONE!!! It's not as if I just traded a Fabia in for my vRS. Maybe Skoda might sell more cars if they targetted their marketing towards those who don't already have them ;)

Good advert though - it would have worked...

Not quite as bad as a certain XXXBHP 4x4 turbo owner being sent a flyer for a vRS octy estate...

I'd say Microsoft has done some intelligent marketing, and many car manufacturers must have too - how come the best-selling cars are also among the most unreliable?

First prize to Renault for their shiny NCAP five-star Laguna which underneath its exterior chique and undoubted top-notch passive safety is falling apart from the seams with every conceivable mechanical and electrical problem...

That explains why the La Goona is so safe then, if you can't start the damn thing you have almost no chance of crashing it :D

I had some marketing stuff from Skoda recently (that weird questionaire thing) that listed my VRS as my current car -that was two cars ago!

Nice to know they're up to date...........
