In all honesty, having the most up-to-date map database installed is academic for me as I use Waze - I just like to see if the update download releases work. A map database up to last November, which I now have, is unlikely to have changed much in the ensuing months, so updates say twice a year is enough for me.

Is there any option to update maps offline for Superb 2020? I have downloaded maps on USB Type C flash, plug in on the front side, but cannot find any option on the Navigation or Settings to update offline. Also, there is no option to update while holding the Menu button and enter the hidden menu.

If you have MIB3 then just leave the flash drive plugged in and whenever you drive the car have the navigation on. It updates in the background - no option to force the download.

For what it is worth, there is a new update of navigation files ( OI_P85_202245 ) on the update portal.

I have managed to update before but it doesn’t seem to work now? I downloaded the latest updates and unpacked the files. Tried both putting the folder on an SD card and just all the files themselves on the card and it just says update not valid or similar?

Just for information I´m ordered in the service with MIB3 Amundsen on my Kamiq. I bough this car as used but with missing Croatia map!! Navig database were never updated. I have still nav. database 20.11 Soft of MIB3 is actual 0324

 

Previous owner (my cousin) tried to solve this problem with Skoda but unfortunately with no success. I was more precise so I have deal with Skoda. They will change MIB 3 for a new one!! Finally I will have fully functional navigation with update possibility - maybe I will inform for two weeks.
