has anybody fitted fog lights on the mk1 - ive been looking through the forum and on line but cant find a direct fit.

 

is there an option that will fit from another model or has any one done this themself ?

Look at the Passat B5.5 for some ideas that might work, stock fogs are in the headlight.

After a little looking around and measuring up I'm going to try and mod these cover on to the original and fit some purple spots 

You do know the fog lights are built into the headlamps on these?

 

A bit high up but they should be there.

 

As for the rear you can make both sides light up with a wire from one side to the other.
