... trouble code indicates the Electronic Computer Module (ECM) has detected an issue in the turbocharger or supercharger system, specifically about readings being outside acceptable parameters in regards to the engine's boost. Now looking through old service records in the owner manual folder last June (2020) there was a P334B (Boost Pressure Actuator) fault detected wondering if all this could be connected and that needs revisiting....anyway will be phoning the dealer shortly and Green Flag to recover.....

I would ask the Dealer if last June the P334B error code might have been interpreted incorrectly and whether your turbo has problem along with any other error codes they (or you) find put a little heat into this so they don't try to fob you off.

Good luck.

My Mum worked with AC around 2005-2011 at their Fiat garage in Ayr. The service was pretty decent there, as it was with Toyota for our ailing Auris. She's accepted a new job with another AC branch in Ayr as well, so that's something. :)

It tends to be a sales side of AC that caused most issues to customers, my daughter bought a pre reg Leon Cupra at a very good price and sold her previous Ibiza privately and so far has not had any trouble with AC other than accidentally when using their SEAT area on their website, accepted their advice to take her under warranty Cupra into a closer workshop - now that is not good advice for a car still under warranty as that year 2 service will never end up on the SEAT digital service record system - that sort of advice is shocking to their customers, too late now though!

AC Branches are not all equal.  (Equally as bad.)

Not all will tell you at handover there is only 1 key but they will get you one and then the Salesperson is always on a day off. unless you walk in and catch them.

Not all give the 2 year Service & MOT offer for Free as a sweetner then fails the car at the MOT on the things it failed on the year before before you collected the car.

Not all will have disposed of the discs and broken spring before you get there to see them.

Not all will give advisories on wiper blades, brake fluid change etc that were all on MOT's before they passed it in the MOT at their Test Station / Workshop the year before.

@AnnoyingPentium

AC Peugeot Ayr is night and day different from AC Vauxhall Ayr.

The traffic fumes off the A77 must do something that is not good on some employees.

The risk is that good trustworthy and honest workers are off to pastures new and what is left are those trained & managed by total muppets.

Very true, George. My Mum's accepted a job with AC Peugeot. We've had better experiences with AC and Park's over Ingrams in my experience, but that was quite a while ago. :)

Have you checked? ( I can )

The four manufactures ( VW, Audi, Skoda & Seat ) ERWIN service web sites all have a very similar layout. ( the same program underneath? )

They seem to have the same options but just in a different place and with a different name at the top.

So long as the User Name and Password work on every website then they would have no problem in updating the service record.

It can't be backdated by long but they could always use the date the service was done as a order number.

Thanks. AG Falco

The trouble should be that this AC workshop/dealership site does not cover any VW Group marque cars, I've forgotten which if any car marque it was badged up for - ot it could have just been their "used car supermarket" workshop.
