Ok going to hold my hands up ive done a muppet thing.

I had the nose grille and bonnet off been doing some cosmetic work so anyway put the grille and bonnet back on and set the hinges etc then closed the bonnet to check gaps were all correct.

At this moment I realised I had not replaced the little black handle that pops out of the bonnet grille so you can open the bonnet so now cannot get the bonnet open dohhhhhhhhh.

Any ideas please ????

It's easy done. 

 

If you've got some stiff wire (like the stuff they use for fences), you should be able to get in and hook the catch further up, where it's a "normal" bonnet catch, before skoda extended it with the plastic linkage.

Well the wire thing has not worked can feel the catch pull back but its still not opening up not dure why ???

Good news second attempt today at hook a duck got the bonnet open lesson learnt. Thanks all 😀

You know, that when I opened this thread I was expecting to see a Fabia doing doughnuts as if driven by a yob. :D

Think im a bit past that now and if I was to would be doing so in the other car not my little furby not going to give her an excuse to break something else lol.
