I was just doing some output tests on my dashboard with VAG-COM as theres something cool about watching your speedo reading 130 while the car is stationary Anyway, When I went through the "Buzzers" such as the lights on warning and the low oil warning beeps I found a gentle "Bong Bong Bong" Noise, what do you have to do in a Fabia to get it to do that noise, or is it unused?

is it not the left lights on noise?

That noise is for the american setting, american cars have that warning when the key is in the ignition and the drivers door is open. You can set it through vagcom but your clock turns to 12hr and your mpg reading turns to US gallons.

On the Octy the bong bong bong is the OMFG you have put the car into glow plugs setting and are putting your seatblt on while they warm up warning.

(Not that you can tell i used to drive IDI diesels where it was a 15 second wait for the glows, giving you time to put your belt on while waiting).

On my Fabia, you got 5 or 6 bongs when the ignition was started to remind you to put your seatbelt on. I think it was dropped (at least in the UK) in 2002
