Woke up to find my drivers side wing mirror smashed - looks like another vehicle drove into it as it basically folded back on itself and ended up pointing the wrong way (well, what was left of it).

 

My car service book gives the colour as 9153 and it is Anthracite grey.

 

I've found a mirror online (used) with the right colour but its quite expensive and scuffed.

 

I've found another one which is described as Anthracite grey but the colour code is given as F8J

 

Looking at this website it shows

To be honest the car is 12 years old now so being close enough is good enough. 

Just a thought could it be the compound make up of the paint as most cars are now water based colours and perhaps this code reflects this change from the solvent based paints that were used 

Check the paint code on the sticker in the boot.
