Front speakers

Featured Replies

Any recommendations for some front speakers up to £100 max.

one of mine is buzzing and would like to upgrade them.

Happy to go either component or 2 way, not looking for all out quality tbh.

I’m aware I will need the adapters etc.

Reasonable Sony head unit driving them.

JBL and Rockford Fosgate used to be pretty good, not sure what they are like these days.

Pioneer TS-G1720F. That's what I've got in the car, bloody brilliant. Cost me about £35 IIRC.

They look ideal really, bloody cheap too.

Ordinary cars are too noisy to benefit from expensive hifi components unless you want to listen while parked up.

I do agree but just want something half tidy to go in there.

At that price, who cares!

Well anyone with any brains would still care because it's a good price does not mean you have to put crap in and if anyone checks they will see that fli speakers have a very good reputation and following.

Not really what I meant but nevermind.

A good way to improve sound quality aside from speakers is sound deadening. A little goes a long way as there is not a lot put into these cars standard. And you can decent stuff for a lot less than the likes of halfords are wanting.

I'm gonna order a pair of the ones Stewart linked as both my mk1s have blown speakers. Anything will be better than what's in either of mine!
