Hello everyone, my first post here...

 

im a third (very happy so far) owner of S3FL LK TSI 4x4 272HP, and i would appreciate if you guys could help me with some of my issues.

 

how could i check what systems the car is equipped with? im still learning, got the car for a week only but is that possible the car doesnt have blind spot detect or side/ lane assist?

On the controls on right hand side of the steering wheel, there is a button at the top left with a symbol of a car.  Have you tried pressing this to see the options that appear include blind spot detect or side/ lane assist and that they are ticked?

 

When I bought my car at 8 months old, these were not functioning until I found out that they were not selected.  I assume your car is Polish registered and I'm not sure if they have different standard specs to the UK cars.

Appreciate your reply, the car been purchased from german VW dealer by previous owner. i've checked what you suggested already and the only  thing i can see is 'Front Assist', see photo attached.

it seems ridiculous that such as model (top one) misses some of the 'standard' assistance features, is this possible or there may be a bug after recent soft upgrade (info also attached)?

I can see your car has the virtual cockpit but mine is an earlier model without this.  I'm not very technical and have only said what I can see on my display, so maybe someone else can help here and say what features your car should have.

 

Despite driving through Poland in August in my Superb, my knowledge of Polish is nearly non-existent when it comes to understanding your screen shots!

 ill change that to english as re technical stuff it's more preferred, cheers mate!

screen in english now, my question is why i cannot see all of the driver's assistance stuff such as LANE ASSIST + SIDE ASSIST/blind spot etc? it seems to be rather standard than optional in all L&K ? thanks

Does it have the orange lights in the mirrors that light as a car approaches?

No joy then unfortunately, I absolutely love mine. They saved my bacon a few days ago in very bad fog I almost drove into the path of an army lorry after leaving a toll plaza, neither of us saw each other, luckily I had room to move over.

lucky you mate, sh!t happens!... i was checking many dealer's "superb-prices-specs" starting with year model 2017 up to 2022 and i found all of the specs mentioned as standard ones.

 

does it mean my SL&K doesn't have them or something is wrong?

I don't know tbh, I'm in Ireland and my car is a march 2021 iV style model. I think all style models here have lane assist.
