. . Enyaq . . you sat in one yet?

steered only 2x ~2h. all depends on comparison -
i also enjoyed so much 1/2 hour test drive in Taycan,
but for know reason it isn't included in choice list :)

A work colleague tried both the enyaq and model 3. Ended up with the Tesla. Was very underwhelmed by the Skoda.

Not long after we bought our Superb iV L&K, the dash/sat nav/infotainment started playing up. Probably there from the start, but we reported it within a couple of months, and waited for an update which our garage (Meadens who we bought it from) said would solve it. Numerous visits later, two and a half years on, it still has repeated faults, cuts out, blank dash with no sat navigation, and so on. Photos and video of these regularly shared with Meadens. Functions have failed such as memory on seats. Car's been off the road half a dozen times, for days at a time. Last week, when in for an oil change, the garage tried yet again...my car wouldn't accept either of two software updates and they've yet again contacted the Skoda mothership. I am worried as the warranty has only three months left, then I fear they'll cast me adrift. It feels the can is being kicked down the road until then. I've asked for Meadens to get the warranty extended for a year at the least, to protect me. They say they'll try but sound pessimistic. And in the survey I gave them two stars...I can't see how I can give more given the issues and years of problems. The service manager rang me to change the review. I like the garage, and him, and have sympathy (but no patience any more!) but what else can I do to make my unhappiness plain. Anyone else got this...any ideas? What's the legal position? TIA.

Late in on this and sorry to hear your trouble

Mine had a similar fault, three visits and fixed during a 6 week period Xmas 2021. Mine was x demo and an obvious fault, So, within  a month of purchase I said, in writing, not fit for purpose fix it or replace it. They fixed it, lucky I guess as the THIRD re-set and software update worked.

Unfortunately you're a bit late to fully back the car as you've had it too long, but you may be able to get an assisted part exchange for a new car with the factory chipping in. If you haven't already you MUST start your own dialog with Customer services, open your own case file and start pushing hard before your warranty expires. Maybe get Which Car involved (other titles are available)

Please keep posting...........good luck in 2023

Interesting comparisons, albeit comparing the Arteon, A6 and 5 Series to a Superb is a bit ridiculous, on RRP alone. Is the Enyaq really that expensive; I thought the coupe vRS was around €65k? (Which is still utterly ridiculous).
IMO, the tyre roar and transmitted noise, so potholes and expansion lines on the M25 concrete section, were the most annoying “features” of the 280, but now the original P6’s are off and the Conti All Season are on, I estimate both have been reduced by 70%.
