  • For sure that is totally for sure for sure.

  • What's the difference between neighbouring inserts? IIRC, there was a limit, too and it is more critical than absolute value. Edges of adjacent liners should be perfectly in level.

9 Euros seems very high, some places here sell it at £5, or even £6, a can but I have bought it for £2 a can or three cans for £10.

PTFE and Teflon are the same thing, Teflon is the trademarked name for PTFE. - https://www.nes-ips.com/teflon-vs-ptfe/

GT85 (history) is owned and marketed by the WD-40 Company (brands), GT85 was started as a British company in the mid-80s but like so much was swallowed up by an American corporation, I have no idea if the WD-40 PTFE spray is exactly the same as the GT85 spray but as I used to successfully use GT85 on my pushbikes in the 1980s I returned to it when it returned to the shop shelves.

Rather than having one can of WD-40 Multi-Use that does not do the jobs as well or several can of specialist sprays I use GT85.

I am also using up gravity and spray can of PlusGas (penetrating/releasing agent) as I bought them before the GT85, PlusGas (history) again used to be a British company but is no more I am not sure if it is now effective as it used to be, but it might be, I have no old cans to compare and anyway GT85 does more jobs and smells nice.

Sounds good to me.

Brakes done.
That was the old brake fluid that came out...
Nasty stuff.

Which programme are you using for slide-show photos to make the video?

Congratulations!

I wish, you enjoy your Felly in your most happy days and may it serve you well in your hard times, because you served well for it now.

I like how you work on the car. You don't rush your work. You work clean and orderly. I'd trust you to make repairs on my car.

Also your paint work on valve cover looking so very cool. Just loved it.

That was a good idea to record the startup video too. It will be a good memory to remember in the future.

Good work!

Again thank you, this project lasted around 1 and 1/2 months, working when I had free time, but being clean when messing with engine parts is the only way forward for me.

Are you sure it's not the hose(s) or hose clips to the matrix.  I've no idea about the Felicia matrixes but with the old British cars some might think of the matrix are they were a real pain to get out but checking the hose connections would often save the work as few of those matrix leaked even after after 70 years - just about everything else might leak on those cars though.

100 percent not the hoses checked many many times...

I replaced mine too.

Also if you used any new coolant hoses and new clamps for those hoses, please remember to check them for leakages for several weeks. It takes some time for them to get used to each other.

Please inform me of the procedure

In Fav. you start by removing the battery. After that, there are coolant hoses for the heat ex. and the valve control wire. There is a snap on plastic frame which holds the heat ex. in place. (My frame was glued with silicone sealant) After removing that frame, it's easy to replace the heat exchanger. You just carefully pull it from its slot and insert the new.

But...

The large plastic housing which holds the air flaps and the heat exchanger itself is completely different in Felicia.

Heat exchanger position is different too. Looks like it's harder.

I couldn't find a good instruction. All have is this below. Not very helpful and maybe not the correct way to do it but just FYI.
