Alarm system not installed, when in fact it is installed

Hi everyone

My alarm system is showing as not installed on vcds, when in fact it is installed.

Back in the summer I had an issue with my central locking to which the alarm was going off all the damn time, so I disconnected the fuse to the alarm system to stop the siren from irritating my neighbours.

I fixed the issue and put the fuse back in but ever since the alarm system has never worked. No lights flashing, can do all the things that the manual says will trigger it and vcds is adamant that it isn't installed.

Any ideas? It's not a huge pain in the backside, although I am slowly getting this car back into mint condition, this is on the list. So far 50% of the issues are now fully resolved. 😂
