It was awaiting shipping two weeks ago to the UK all he can tell me is once he hears it's on its way to dealership he will let me know, spoke to him yesterday and he said there is a ship leaving on 14th and one leaving on 16 th he hopes it's on one of them with the other twenty Skoda's, thanks for your help

You can use  https://www.marinetraffic.com to track ships across the globe.

 

VAG tend to use "HIGHWAY" vessels to transport their cars and Malacca Highway is currently moored at Emden with it's next  port of call being Sheerness.

 

You can track the progress of this ship but there is no way of knowing whether you car is on it or not.

Although this question may have been better in the Kamiq forum, there is so much in common between many Skoda models, and as far as I can tell, nowhere on Briskoda where general questions can be asked. I have a Karoq, but I always look on the Kamiq and Kodiaq forums, as there may be some threads that help me and I can contribute about common issues.

The best thing to do is ask your dealer for the current status of your order on their system.

 

From mine being at ‘Status 38 - Port of exit released’ it took 3 weeks until I picked it up from the dealer.

Unless you're collecting the car from the dockside at Sheerness does it matter when it arrives in the Uk?

 

All I ever want to know is when will the car be available for me to collect at the showroom and the only person who knows that is my dealer.

I'm also hoping my car is on one of these ships, but I'm not bothering to ask dealer any more since he told me it was at Emden.

 

We optimistically agreed it "should" be available for collection at showroom this month.

 

As the current car departs on 23rd, you'll guess I'm hoping for 24th.

@COOLWATERMalacca Highway now docked at Sheerness. Suggest give it a day or so then contact dealer for latest status.
