The nice thing is that with Skoda connect you can actually see the process and follow up. Mine was ordered 8th of July and still waiting for it's production week. Once it is being built you can track it including the delivery

How did you get the reference to set up Škoda connect? It would be good to try this out on my order.

You need to register on the app with the same email address you used in the order.

 

Then (in my case) the dealer needed to request the data consent email to be sent from Skoda connect. Once i clicked "i consent" it appeared in the app immediately

I was told that the“Skoda Connect” app has been replaced with the new “MySkoda” app.

Are you still using the old app?

You are correct I use Myskoda (my mistake). Sadly cant change the original post to change Skoda connect to Myskoda

No sorry i am located in Finland and it seems as Dumpling says it not available for you island people

 

Basically what my dealer did is go into the their skoda management app where they place their orders etc. Then he marked it to be available in the MySkoda App and then i got the consent email, after the consent it works. 

 

The funny thing is he said i will know more about when the car is ready then he will. He told me a customer told him last month exactly when the car would be there while he couldnt see it in their systems

Tracking & explore  - now available in SK, AT, FI, DE (descoped), PT, CH, SI, GB, FR, IE and ES

I checked and Romania is not on that list.

After exactly two months, the long-awaited LK 2.0 TSI 265HP 4x4 car arrived.
I am very pleased, I like it very much, it is very comfortable and stable.
It was manufactured on August 22 and unfortunately the problem with the noise from the rear suspension is still present.

At the moment I only have 500 km, the assistance systems work perfectly, the wireless carplay connection is very fast. The wireless charger heats up the phone quite a bit.

And this is why I have my wireless charger mount on the Air vent next to the window so it's blowing cooling air onto my iPhone (appreciate that you're referring to an OEM location not aftermarket)

Yes, I meant OEM. Skoda praised this wireless charger with active cooling and we expect it to do a good job. I don't see any cooling there, it probably just has a radiator underneath.

 

I’m still waiting for delivery of my new Superb but I’ve already purchased a couple of accessories for it, a Brodit phone  dash mount and a VIOFO A139 Pro front/rear dashcam.

I want to purchase a Brotec matte screen protector for the infotainment display but the only one they produce for the new Superb is for a 10” screen, not the 13” L&K one. They do a 13” one for the Kodiaq though.

I wonder if anyone who already has their mk4 would be kind enough to measure the height & width of the infotainment screen for me and let me know those dimensions (mm) please?

No, had 1 call from the dealer since placing the order to confirm that the factory had accepted the order.

I ordered at the end of July with an estimated delivery time of 12 wks. Latest news from dealer is an estimated factory build week 6 2025 to be confirmed ☹️

It seems impossible to get reliable information on this from dealers, I tried for past 4 Skodas I had, so would help a few people, myself included.

The Mk4 with matrix lights has a headlight setting in the main screen for Left Hand Driving or Right Hand Driving.  Alters the light pattern for Continental driving.
