You've got a cheek haven't you :D  You come on Briskoda posting links to conspiracy nonsense, calling everyone you don't agree with 'woke' or some other terms, accusing those on the left of having a mental illness referenced by a far right conspiracy theorist and you get the hump when someone pushes back a little bit. Did I hit a nerve?
You were told that you shouldn't be surprised one day if people started pushing back. Do you remember that? I do.
I have you blocked but chose to respond to that.

The problem you have Lee, is that everyone can see your posts on here.

Trying to gaslight people as to who is out of order here is not going to work when they can simply go back through your posts at point out where you are being inconsistent and hypocritical.

(I know you've tried to discourage this, by framing it as "creepy and weird", but as I've said, your childish abuse is water off a duck's back, though it is being collated.)

You're obviously well-practised in your dishonesty, but for those who can't spot it a mile off, thank you for providing a good example.

When I criticise you, I will almost always give a specific example, as I did with your libellous post here.

When you criticise me, you invariably use smear tactics without actually pointing out what was wrong with what I posted.

What "conspiracy theory nonsense" are you talking about, Lee?

That's an interesting observation, given that "woke" was discussed in the thread you created and locked about it.

The sharp-eyed might have noticed that you Lee, never really have an opinion on anything or anyone, unless it's to say you dislike it/them or refer to it disparagingly.

Your "opinion", if ever given, is usually giving in the form of a link, or an abusive smear.

For someone who protested about personal abuse instead of dealing with the issue, you seem remarkably keen to indulge in abuse, and even more keen to avoid actually discussing any issue.

Just on this page are the following examples of you character, Lee.

Post, after post, after post, after post of toxic vitriol, or snide meanness.

I suspect people will either boycott it or he'll end up eating kangaroo penis glans three time a day with some monkey anus for dessert.

I do hope it's the latter.

I wonder what illness the nationalist far right thugs disrespecting the honour and sacrifice of The Fallen in London today are suffering from then?  Lest we forget? Pah! That's Fuehrage's fan bois for you and slow handclap for the Home Secretary for fomenting those absolute thugs and idiots.
@J.R.I think Fuerhrage will have said something defamatory on X (formerly Twitter) or on his GB 'News' programme Talking ****** Pints.
I for one wouldn't post hatred. In fact, the only hatred I've seen today has come from far right thugs disrespecting The Fallen.

What 'hate-posting'?
I see @EnterName has been doing rEsEaRcH again down some RW conspiracy site.

Mentally deficient idiots the lot of 'em.

'Stochastic terrorism'. A term I heard the other day. Braverman and the Editors of papers such as the Daily Heil shoud look it up.

On 11/11/2023 at 23:36, @Lee said:

Not a single word of condemnation of the far right thugs who support Führage from the man himself.

But then this is the sort of person he cosies up with. Beatrix Amelie Ehrengard Eilika von Storch. Deputy leader of the far right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD). She's the granddaughter of Nazi Germany's de facto leader after the death of Hitler Lutz Graf Schwerin von Krosigk. I'm sure they had many chats together in the European Parliament when they could be bothered to turn up.

The good people did go out and do something. The far right fascist thugs were the problem yesterday. They always are aren't you.

At least 100 people from the far right thug mob were arrested yester out of a few 1000 at most. Out of a crowd of at least 300,000 there were a handful of arrests. Nine coppers in hospital after clashes with far right thugs. Which one do people think was the real 'hate march'?

I see you even if the rest of the forum doesn't.
Oh and that Edmund Burke quote. He never said it. More fake stuff.
There was one funny moment in yesterday's scenes. That moment when the criminal far right thug Stephen Yaxley-Lennon AKA Tommy Robinson fled at the first hint of trouble. In a taxi emblazoned with Pride colours :D
Do these people ever ask themselves 'am I on the right side here?'

Those are your words, Lee.

That is your presence on Briskoda. You don't post to offer any kind of help or encouragement to anyone outside your little clique, or beyond your like-farming on "Chuckle in your day".

That is who are are.

She speaks for many people I suspect.

1.5 million and he's found a way to exempt himself from anything too strenuous. So why did ITV take him on to appear if he's not going to do strenuous bushtucker trials?

A real man of the people. Kidder of the gullible. A grifter.

It's the snakes I'd feel sorry for.

Doubtless to the despair of Anglophobes everywhere, according to YouGov, Brexit man Nigel Farage is the UK's most popular public figure.

I expect he may emerge from the "jungle" even more popular than he went in, as well as being £1.5m better off.

It's enough to drive some to drink. Bitter, I expect.

I'm sure he'll find a bank happy to help him keep all that money safe. With £1.5m cash to bank, he could probably get an account at Coutts...

Holy camoly.

Is it April 1st?     It shows just how Polls / Pollsters can not be trusted including the MP that co- founded Yougov.

There are really some snouters in there that have filled their boots from the public purse and then been found out / disgraced and still they are apparently popular with the public.

Of the percentage of those polled.

Maybe they even knew who they were.

It's insane! That said, being the "most popular" of a group of very unpopular people isn't much to crow about. :D

I have been de-banked yet again 😄

This time as a result of me changing banks pro-actively and my old bank becoming petulant which is a very common thing across many businesses in France.

We have a wonderful law called Mobilité Bancaire which means when you move to a new bank by signing a form or doing so online they send a standard document to your old bank asking for details of all the standing orders or direct debits, they then contact all the companies giving them your new bank details and request that they debit the new account, this takes place over a 3 month period and they keep in touch with you all the way.

You have the choice to close your old account at the end of the 3 months or keep it open, I chose the latter, for the former the balance would be transferred at the end of the period.

One of the reasons that I kept it open was knowing that not all the companies take heed and debit from the new account and indeed that was the case with Free.fr for my ADSL and mobile phone contracts, Veolia water, the building insurance for the hôtel, Paypal and Amazon, in time I would have contacted them but there was no hurry or so I thought.

On Saturday I had a notification from Monabanq (my new bank) of a bank transfer deposited, it was the balance of my Credit Agricole account, the barstewards had closed it without informing me or asking for the cheque book and debit card back, I went on line and I cannot now access the account, I cant even get a statement to see if what they have transferred is correct, it seems at least €1K too little, I cannot go into a local branch because they are regional and the only way is to travel a 1600km round trip and doorstep them, exactly what I had to do when my house purchase fell through because the teenager responsable for my account would not authorise the transfer to the Notaire despite it being agreed in advance, in that instance the manager called me (I had told the guy I would read him his fortune after the 800km drive) and arranged things, you get a picture if why I decided to change bank for the 4th time in France 😒

I managed to change ny bank details on line with Free, Amazon, Paypal, Ali-Express etc and I think its just the insurance and water companies that I need to contact, if they try to take their monthly payment in the meantime I could find myself uninsured and with the water cut off all because of a petulant bank employee.

Today a neighbour (a wine merchant) merrily told me that he still hadn't banked the cheque I gave him several months ago for cases of wine I bought as presents (I dont drink alcohol) it turns out the cheque was from Monabanq so there will be no problem but I have to now look and see if there are any others, unlikely as I rarely write cheques.

Already I have decided that I will have to move banks yet again Monabanq like many others cannot get their head around the fact I believe I should be able to spend my own money, after 3 months of negotiating with alleged humans who have the logic of chatbots I have only got them to begrudgingly agree that I can spend no more than €2.5K per month on my debit card, up from €1K despite having €10k plus in the account and having building materials to pay for which will often exceed that figure.

France is ahead of the times with Mobilité Bancaire but the banques, even the new internet ones like Monabanq are still in the dark ages.

What a horrible piece of writing but clearly it appears to some people, does calling it comedy justify the two times removed associating?

I'm not confused, John. I'm just wondering why you equate your self imposed issue with Farage being debanked. Perhaps your grievance would have been better shared in the what annoyed you today thread?

What was 'horrible' about the Stewart Lee piece? I did say it was acerbic and witty. I also said the writer was a comedian but I didn't say it was a comedic work.

Not self imposed and even you should be able to understand why I would post about me being debanked in a thread with that very same title.

The lawyers hired by the owners of Coutts to produce a report to prove Coutts did nothing wrong have produced a report which says Coutts did nothing wrong?

Okay. 🤷‍♂️

lol Nigel doesn't half chat some carp. This time to suck up to the Evangelical far right trumpists. No doubt his begging bowl/ links to his PayPal donation page are out.

When will people ever learn that people like him do not, will not nor ever have had your interests at the forefront. It's always, always about them and what they can get from you.

Remember when Farage began his walk when he was leader of the Brexit Party and scarpered after a few miles leaving the poor saps who donated to finish the job?

Compare that with Ian Botham. At least he had the conviction of his words and walked from Land's End to John O' Groats.

This has low-key bothered me for a while, but I couldn't be bothered to really address it. But I was a bit bored this morning, so here I do address it.

This is the Government list of the proscribed terror groups in the UK.

Here's a list of the names of the groups. People can judge for yourselves what the "huge problem" in the UK is.

I've highlighted the "huge problem" groups, even throwing in the Wagner Group, but it seems to me that the "huge problem" is somewhat dwarfed by a considerably larger problem from other groups.
