Recently travelled during night time hours and noticed my high beam assist has stopped working

It used to display a headlight with an A but that doesn't come up and having to use manually.

Any ideas please?

Does the headlight rotary switch need to be in the Auto position ?

Yes....and headlight bar pressed forward but it no longer works

Oh well, it was worth a try. Sounds like you've got a fault somewhere then, possibly the camera not working ?

they checked at garage recently and said all ok...road signs readings ok and rain detection just no high beam assist ...just stopped working

did they scan the system for fault codes ?

I dont have High beam assist on my current car but have had it on previous. Is there any menu option in the 'settings' which can enable/disable it ? if so , try toggling it to disable then enable

They were vague as to what they did ... made me laugh when said fixed in workshop in daylight.. but system still not working so going to book it back in....we even had our dash cam moved in case that causing an issue but no change

On mine on the Infotainment vehicle settings menu under light assist there is a box which must ticked for the high beam assist to work
