Whats exciting as standard for 20-25k?

Featured Replies

Ok, lets say i do away with the mini fleet of diamond silver metallic sat outside, and look for a new car.

So far, things that interest me are -

VXR Monaro < certain death i feel :D >

Bmw 330c d.

Old shape M5.

Any more suggestions. Only criteria, it has to make me **** in my pants with joy when i drive in standard form. It also has to house a child seat at weekends.

No FWD or 4WD either. Cant get the power down at the traffic lights in FWD, and 4wd is for the scared. (just my view)

I want raw!!! Lairy, maybe even scary.

Yes, well, it had crossed my mind, but i'd need a second car for weekends, which is the opposite of the idea for owning an atom i think.

Lovingly restored by himself (he runs v-tuning with his father).

You are going to come to the same conclusion I came to.

A de-restricted M3 CSL.

Not for

Not for

You got 5 days to save up

I know you said nothing with 4wd but if it were my money i'd look at the old shape Audi RS4...........

Oh dear!!

What about a 350Z Dave? That would be on my list for that budget....

I was suprised to find out that these hold their value incredibly well...I could find a decent average mileage one cheaper than a newer M3.

Anyone know what the rear space is like in an M3? ;)

Ask DaveU he has been for a roll in the back of one.

I do ;)

Actually, if you do decide on a BMW. I have a spare car seat you can have:thumbup: BMW of course :D

You could just get a Coupe GT at the top end of your budget. Nismo mods can be added by the dealer and will not invalidate your warranty.

However' date=' I suspect that it wont [i']feel[/i] fast enough for you due to the silky smooth power delivery.

Can you get a child seat in a 350Z? :D

My money would be on an E39 M5 or a Litchfield Impreza Type-25 (but you said no to 4wd so I'd go with the M5 ;))

Chris

M5 would tick all of Shifty's boxes

Car Seat??!??!

Well, I don't have any recommendations other than what have already been touted, but just to say this:

Ensure it's got leather, because if you want a car that scares the **** out of you, imagine what it could do to a baby/toddler.........and from first hand experience, vomit & poop (and it's accompanying stench) is a real pain to shift from cloth/fabric interiors

Smart roadster at 15k :D

You may laugh but I went out in one the other night - what a laugh! Yes, you can slide it :D

Weighs about 800kg, chip costs aboput
