Can you pm me please?

Hi Rainesh,

I need to update my OCU of my Skoda Karoq (5WA035284B, OCUGen3High, H20, SW 0035).

Is the OCU3_5WA035284B__SWUP_package_3G0919360RJ.7z or OCU3_5WA035284B__SWUP_package_3G0919360NS.7z the right Software update file ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Samoth

The MIB3 is already on SW 0330.

Hello,

I have a Scala Monte Carlo since february 2020.

Since MIB was updated by Skoda dealer, I have lost connectivity (infinite "Loading" message and Skoda shop apps have grey icons in menu). I tried a factory reset and then I managed to login with my Skoda Connect account but then unable to set account as main user because of infinite Loading message.

Skoda dealer has no solution to fix that except a full replacement of SOS system for a cost of about 1300€. So I would like to know if someone could have a way to fix software, connectivity worked fine until this update, including Skoda Connect app and traffic information in Skoda navigation map.

I have collected my actual configuration with OBD Eleven and attached captures to message.

Could someone please help to fix that ?

Update Telematics to 143. Then run the OTA update and then it should be fixed

Thanks for your answer. Would you have a link to download update file ? And is it possible to run update from service menu with an USB key ?

I have found an update file in a Kamiq topic : https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/521024-kamiq-my20-mib3-update/page/5/#findComment-5933474

I have done update from Service menu with an USB key and it shows that update is OK. However I have checked with ODB Eleven and version is still 139 instead of 143 and I have a new 5F fault : Checking software version management

What could be the problem ? Did I take an incorrect update file ?

Yes you took the wrong file. You must take the file which matches with your hardware version number.

See https://mibsolution.one/index.php/f/181578

filename: OCU3_5WA035284B__SWUP_package_3G0919360RJ.7z

Best regards

Hi, the link seems to be broken (displays "The file was not found!")

Does this link contain correct files : https://mibsolution.one/#/1/9/OCU

Yes

In my case Hardware number is 5WA035284 and software number is 5WA035284E. In which one should I refer ?

I used OCU3_5WA035284B__SWUP_package_3G0919360RJ.7z for Hardware number 5WA035284B.

Should be OCU3_5WA035284___SWUP_package_3G0919360RH.7z but perhaps it is better to check with Rainesh.

You need RH

@Rainesh OK for RH, it matches with update file I used. Is it normal that SOS light turns Off with SOS fault during update ? I don't manage to check if update has finished. From service menu update log it seems to be OK but with OBD version is still 139 and permanent fault "Checking Software version management"

Did you not check if the update was successful installed? At the end you will see in the summary screen OK. It should then show in OBD 143.

And yes is normal

@Rainesh During update I had screen indicating line per line install progress, each line had a progress bar witch then switch to "OK". At the end I had at the bottom of screen: 13/13 - 1 OK, 12 N/A. After Telematics fault gone OFF and LED went back to green, system asked me to reboot.

After that I plugged OBD Eleven, I saw faults that came during update and version at still 139 and also no connectivity in MIB.

It is possible that Skoda dealer had same behavior. How could I troubleshoot this and check if my Telematics hardware could have a problem blocking update ?

Is fault "Checking Software version management" juste an information or it can block something ?

Hi,

I have a 2019 Skoda Scala Ambition, with the following telematics unit.
I had to change the battery and since then the MySkoda app can not connet to the car.

Tried to reset the setting in car, but since then it is not able to finish the connection.

I know there were a change from Skoda Connect to MySkoda app this year, and I think the issue is connected to that change.

So, all in all I want to update my Swing unit, I found the update files for it, but where can I find update files for OCU unit?

Checked this page, but there is no file for 5WA035282: https://mibsolution.one/#/1/9/OCU

Thanks!
