I bought a 2020 Skoda Kodiaq two months ago. I noticed that the front brake discs on both sides have a 1.2mm wear from the outside to the inside of the disc. My big question is, should I change the front discs and pads? 

It’s easy to say Yes. Or No don’t bother.

 

The reality these days is that Skoda fit poor quality discs so it’s not unusual to see wear on discs.

In your position I’d visit a trusted local independent garage and ask for a price for new discs and pads.  
 

A Skoda dealer will say £££££££££
