Hello.

Recently got Octavia RS 2015

When selecting front assist it's says unavailable, although ACC is working perfectly fine. Please see pictures below.

Is this normal?

I had this problem on my 2015 VRS following a bird strike and managed to sort it without visiting the dealers. I moved the sensor plate behind the power grill but only by a small amount. My car did not have ACC so I am unsure if your Front Assist sensor is integral to ACC or still separate  behind the lower grill.

They use the same radar unit so that is a little peculiar. A full scan may help guide.

Scanned with OBD11 found humidity sensor fault, I think those are connected. So perhaps changing the sensor night help.

Welcome to the forum.

It seems a bit of a stretch for the humidity sensor to be linked with front assist - but who can tell with all the control modules on a vehicle these days?

I'm guessing humidity sensor is located behind rear view mirror and also there is a camera for a front assist. Those are my guesses.

You could check plug harness to mirror but I doubt the humidity sensor has anything to do with it. AFAIK the mirror camera is to do with High Beam Assist, Speed Sign recognition, Lane Asssist. The radar at front of vehicle will handle Front Assist and ACC....

I have read online, usually if front assist is not working then ACC is giving an error also. And yes, I've seen people telling that front assist is using radar at the front although some people said it is using camera behind the mirror also. I just left car at genuine skoda service, will see what they say.
