Those photo's are fine,

I find photography somewhat of a black art, that red squirrel pic is not bad, but when you consider I came away from Formby Point with 93 pics I suppose I should have got a good one.

Which book have you ordered? most of mine are film based books.

I much prefer to get mine right from the 'off' rather than tweeking in photoshop. You can't do it with film photography. I only use photoshop to crop them to a better size.

Nice pics peeps.

I'll dig some of mine out.

My personal fav wildlife pic ive taken..

I agree, if I go out specifically I shoot RAW photo's and adjust exposure, etc as you could with film at the development stage then crop it and leave it alone, Photoshop can be useful but there is nothing more satisfying than nailing the shot you want.

Love the meercats.....I've got some but they're from behind glass so not brilliant ! :thumbdwn:

Couple from my collection.......straight from the camera, not even cropped. I've only had the camera a few months. Just starting out photography-wise and getting better all the time (well I think so anyway :P )

Very good mate, particularly like the middle one. Are those the full-res images yo uploaded here, or do you have bigger versions available?

The 2nd and 3rd are from behind glass so could've been better.

Your post is very topical (to me) re the second photo as I've just bought a stainless steel CD holder in the shape of a salamander. Not sure what species your second photo depicts, but wonder if it likes listening to music...

I always like looking at piccies here to be amazed at the quality and clarity  It's a Mo thing.
