Well - I've just got back from four days camping up in the Lakes district - got plenty of drinking practice in and all set for Saturday night.

And Loz - when you can fall over a guy rope, roll over twice and still not spill your beer you will be a proper camper!

was a little bored, and decided i could see what i could do without use of a thumb (long story... dont ask!!) but just finished a nice little light rig for when darkness sets in... dont camp near me if wanting to sleep lol!!!

haha! I'm not THAT dumb!! I dont run with beer!! and all my alcohol was in plastic bottles with those lids you pull with your teeth!

I simply ran out of a tent after getin changed into my cow pyjamas, tripped over a rope n fell flat on my face! They all laughed at me :(

was going to mention a gazbo type thing, i've got one i could bring but it takes abit of assemble. i'm sure between us all we could manage it though.

i've got a couple of disposable BBQs if anyone wants to jump in with me as i'm only cooking for myself.

Am making tracks to mates in York now, so shall see you all tomorrow.

It seemed a good idea when we first thought of it, but I would need to book the equipment and qualified instructors and buoyancy aids and make a charge for it etc - not as simple as I first thought. But thats modern day Health and Safety for you!

But I will see what the opinion of everyone is when we arrive tmrw - if there is enough interest maybe we can sort something. Suspect most will want to get straight onto the food and beer though!

aww gutted!! I dont have a tent to bring lol! and i can't really stay this time but if it's a success and we do it again I'll see what I can do!

I'm bringing a portable gas BBQ, so if anyone's having trouble with the throw away ones (an apt name), I can lend a hand.
