ABS, traction and flashing handbrake light?

Featured Replies

Basically my car (mk1 Vrs 04)  was parked up for around 4 months and in that time the battery died, when i eventually bought a new battery and started it up it was fine until i started driving and it threw these three lights at me(refer to picture) as well as the 3 warning beeps.

Traction and abs have been turned off as i found out the hard way, but was just wondering if anyone knew why it’s happening .

Also i have a wheel bearing that needs changing if that could be a cause??

(apologies for bad photo as i had to screenshot from a video!)

The wheel bearing failure means the ABS sensor can no longer read the reluctor ring properly, fix the bearing and the light show should go.
