60 edition max pack with winter pack and the service pack. Been told 12/14 weeks so probably late Oct early november.went with d.t.d nothing could get near them for price and dealer only 45 min away from me .

Sounds like a good combo, did you get the heat pump?

I think they are the only manufacturer that charges for it, crazy.

Our Tesla goes back on Friday , they were more efficient then I thought at arranging pick up. Hopefully only a 6 week wait for our Elroq, driving our superb estate in the meantime

No I don't need the heating pump as will only be doing 4 long journey's per year as most of my driving will be only 50 mile a day and wanted to keep the MRP below £40k Paperwork all done today but order not going in until the £1,000 off summer splash offer starts in a few days .

Im having issues with the car recognising the cable when connecting to the OHME epod at home. I plug it in and the car charging socket flashes white and then turns red. I get a message on the dash to try another charger. At first I thought it was the cable so I tried another. Same issue. Sometimes it'll go green and OVO charge anytime will set a charging schedule. Then a few minutes or hours later the charger light turns red and OVO charge anytime is cancelled and shows the car as unplugged. I'm going to try another OHME charger at my partner's house and see if I get the same issue .

Checked on Octopus tonight and it seems that they can now communicate directly with the Elroq so you can go to Intelligent Octopus even if you don't have a compatible charger. Hi @Bowdie have you integrated the Elroq with IOG and does it work? I also noticed the car now appears to be supported.

I used my Hypervolt Home Pro 3 for our first charge yesterday but the car failed to wake up after the IOG first charge slot ended so subsequent slots were missed.Had to unplug and plug back in again which obviously isn’t sustainable going forward.

Luckily this happened during the afternoon so was able to monitor things.

Just wondering if the car integration is now working or whether to just schedule charging…

Nothing concrete yet but I did read online that someone discovered opening the Škoda app at the same time as the OVO app somehow causes a conflict as both apps try and communicate with the car. I did use both apps at the time as I wanted to monitor the charging. In the next charge I'll only open the OVO app.

Yes I am now using IOG. We don't have a smart charger as we have have a trailing 32A charger from Third Rock Energy plugged into a commando socket. As its not intelligent, it doesn't need an app. Every morning I get notifications from Octopus saying they couldn't communicate with the car but, every morning it's charged anyway. I have to ignore our in-house display for electricity. When Octopus decide to charge the car during the day, the in-house display records the cost at 27p kWh so the cost at the end of the week looks pretty scary. I see that tonight between 23.30 and 5.30 in the morning, cheap rate is 3.5p kWh rather that 7p

Thanks for the reply. When I next need a charge I might try integrating the car rather than the charger. It seems that many people are having the same issue as me with the Elroq going to sleep between the charging slots…

If that also fails then I will be scheduling a charge for the cheap hours independent of Octopus until there is a viable solution available.

@Bowdie could I ask how you get the IOG slots? Does Octopus integrate with your car or do you use a timer?

Just heard back from Skoda, my VRS is going into build next week, on track for mid September delivery.

I happens automatically. I just set the car on "charge immediately", plug the car in and then just reach in and press "stop charging", lock the car and walk away. On the Octopus app it asks what time you want it tomorrow and what charge level and then they set a schedule (which often changes during the night)

I reality, they might charge at 7 in the evening for half an hour and again at 9.30, you can never tell what they're actually going to do, but the car is always charged when I want it. When you get your monthly electricity bill, you'll see all the slots where it has been charged outside the 11.30 - 05.30 time slots are charged at 7p/kWh.

The only downside for me is that the in-house display for the smart meter doesn't actually know that it's being charged at 7p so the electricity costs shown look horrendous. It's never as bad when you get the actual bill. 🙂

What colour did you go for? Mine was ordered on the 20th June, build apparently happening this week .

Dealer told me to expect 4-5 weeks to mid - end of Sep for delivery, depending on the boats

I've gone for boring black again. I wanted the Hyper Green until my son said you'll look like a boy racer. Velvet red was my 2nd choice but the wife didn't like and son pipped up again that's just a failed Ferrari🤣

I had 2 Yetis. Wanted red but wasn't allowed as the missus said it would look like Postman Pats van. After that, I was allowed a Velvet Red Karoq, and since then, I've had a red Octy Scout, a red Volvo XC40 and now I've got a Velvet Red Elroq 85 Edition. I like red 🤣🤣🤣

I ended up buying what I wanted. Without seeing the other 2 colours in the flesh. I opted for black. On my monitor the hyper green looked nice but on my laptop it looked a washed out yellow.

I went for Hyper Green, agree with your comments . It can look really nice but also the washed out yellow on certain screens.

I've had a lot of black, silver, grey, white etc with our Tesla being red (nice shade of red actually) . Decided to go with something a bit crazy, I'm either going to love it or absolutely hate it 😬
